FLEETWOOD, Lancs, 13 October, 2008
Town Girls U14 6-0 Wilpshire Girls U14
Sunday, 12th October 2008
Fleetwood cruised to their fourth consecutive win and remain on maximum points for the season.
They were quickly into their stride and threatened the opponents goal from the off. The pressure was rewarded when Sarah Fay crossed into the danger area and Meg Brown slotted home.
Fleetwood continued to dominate possession with Rebecca Harper, Bex Lowe and Em McCarthy carving through the embattled Wilpshire defence. The back four were rarely pressured giving the fullbacks Vic Lowe and Loz Fail the opportunity to raid forward and add to the attack options.

Midway through the half Sarah Fay seized on a loose ball in the box during some frantic defending and looped the ball into the net. Wilpshire were restricted to chasing long clearances from their hands of their excellent keeper but these were confidently dealt with by Steph Massie, Cath Robinson and occasionally the Fleetwood keeper, Cory Stewart.

With five minutes of the half left Loz Fail curled in a great cross which Jess Smith chested into the path of Em McCarthy. A precision shot gave the keeper no chance and it was three nil.
The second half saw Fleetwood continuing to pass the ball and dominate. Bex Lowe was tireless, working in attack and chasing back to retrieve possession on countless occasions.

Loz Fail capped a great performance with a shot threaded through a ruck of players. During the half Lottie Walsh, Chloe Holme, Demi Parker and Em Hanson came on and the two remaining goals were scored by substitutes.
Cath Robinson made a brilliant solo run finishing by megging the full back with Em Hanson slotting home. Finally Demi Parker played the ball out wide and then ran into the box. She managed to get a foot to the resulting cross scoring her debut goal.
